Professional Development Staff have been exemplary in creating a menu of opportunities that enable staff to access both academic and personal improvement programs. Our development staff run workshops, seminars, divisional meetings, evening courses, webcasts and a multiplicity of other events including conferences and system-wide Professional Development Days. This year we will hit 40,000 registrations on the PD Place™ System. PD Place™ makes registration accessible for teacher and administrators through the on-line website. PD Place™ makes registration easy for organizing staff by creating attendance lists, handling wait lists, and closing workshops when they are full.

Teaching and non teaching staff alike can plan their career paths from home. They have a sense of empowerment.
